Snowy days call for snowy crafts! This tie dye snowflake coffee filter craft is fun to make with children when school has been postponed for winter weather. It’s also great practice with scissor skills for young ones.
Supplies
Coffee filters
Washable markers
Spray bottle or water dropper
Water
Paper plate or tray to protect work area
Steps
Place one coffee filter on your waterproof workspace & smooth flat.
Let the kids color all over the coffee filter. You’ll have better results by covering as much white space as possible. Also, bright markers will show better than lighter ones.
Set the wet coffee filters aside and allow them to dry completely.
Once dry, you can now fold it. First fold it in half, then half again two more times.
Cut whichever shapes you would like; see photos for examples.
